This is what I am craving right now. I grew up in Northern Hemisphere so I think I will always associate March, April and May with spring. This look was inspired by fresh blooms :)
Fake anything especially make-up makes me very angry! Yesterday I was browsing Ebay because I wanted to get some OPI nail polishes and came across few clearly fake ones. I got few OPIs from Ebay and never had an issue. Mine came from US sellers who charged US retail prices for their polishes. They sold lots and lots of them and seemed to specialize in nail products. Yesterday I came across few lots of "OPI" nail polishes. I saw fair dew lots from sellers who don't particularly specialize in nail products. They were "factory seconds" and were missing a label. The shades were very random and I never saw those shades in OPI collections. However I know that some counterfeit OPIs will have a lable with colour name on it. I was fortunate enough and never got a fake OPI nail polish . So I will show you what a REAL one looks like. 1. The front of the bottle Note the writing. There are some variations between old and new editions of OPI but the writing at t...
This morning I received am email from Google notifying me that my blog has been deleted! I am not sure why it happened, maybe because I was inactive lately due (or perhaps someone hacked my account and spammed people). My internet was down for 3-4 weeks, my wedding is only 5 weeks away plus hectic work and social life all resulted in me being MIA. I was a good girl in February and didn't buy anything. Last weekend however I went to Country Road outlet and got this skirt I never though I could pull it off but 12WBT changed my body shape and helped me lose almost two dress sizes. One year ago I would get size 12 pants, sometimes size 10 if they were from "generous" brands like Witchery or Country Road. When I went shopping last weekend SA asked me if I wanted to try size 6 or 8! I'm far from size 6 but comfortably fit into size 8 :) Last weekend I was also browsing shelves in my old bedroom at my parents place and saw two Comptoir Sud Pacifique bottles that I got...
One day I was browsing Mecca and decided that I wanted a light foundation that would feel next to nothing on my skin. I was recommended some sort of BB cream from Urban Decay but it smelled bad so it was an instant no from me. Then I was on the fence about other few other products until I was shown Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation. The shade selection was super limited but given how light it was it blended well. I loved the citrus scent so I took it to the counter. I had some vouchers to use otherwise I would hesitate to fork out $88. The product was nicely packaged and came with the pump and a screw top cap. It is described as foundation, formulated with alpha lipoic acid and vitamin C ester, works to reduce the look of wrinkles and pores, correct undertones and protect with a mineral based SPF 30. The skin is left looking beautifully youthful, dewy and glowing. Sounds like a BB-cream to me! It had a yogurt-like consistency and it ...
