Chanel Hydramax + Active Gel Creme

I wanted to try Chanel Skincare for quite sometime now. Few weeks ago I finally purchased Chanel Hydramax + Active Gel Cream.
This moisturiser was quite pricey but I love it!
Packaging: This cream is presented in a chic frosted container with black lid which features Chanel logo. It also came with a little spatula so you don't have to dip your fingers into the cream thus preventing contamination. It looks great on my vanity table however it is not the quickest and easiest way to apply moisturiser. I think I still prefer pump bottles.
Product: It is a semi-translucent gel cream that feel light on your skin. Unlike a lot of other gel creams it doesn't leave a film on your skin. I've been using it for about two weeks now and my skin looks very good. It doesn't break me out at all which is a huge plus in my books. It is perfect to use under foundation as it fully sinks into your skin preventing your make-up from sliding off. It doesn't have SPF but I prefer it this way as a lot of moisturisers with SPF break me out. Most of all my skin feels very hydrated without being oily or greasy.
Scent: It has very pleasant fruity floral scent. To me it smells like pears and apricot blossoms. The scent disappears fairly quickly so it won't interfere with your perfume. I love using scented face creams, they seem to lift my mood :)

Overall: I am very happy that I've purchased this product. I think this is the best day cream for my skin that I have tried so far. I would give it 9/10

Essie Sale and Espresso Martini is having Essie sale ATM! I love their nail polishes, haven't encountered a bad one yet. They come in very nice and wearable shades and various finishes from sheer to pastes, from cream to pearl!

I love their sets of four miniatures. They are 5 ml which is a bit less that a half of full size Essie nail polish and unlike OPI minis they come with decent brush. I've placed an order for top and base coat set, cuticle oil, four full size nail polishes and one mini set of four. Can't wait to play with them!

I love cocktails but I've been trying to save my money lately for the upcoming wedding so I can't enjoy them whe I am out as much as I would like to :( I have been learning how to make my own cocktails and they all turned out pretty good so far.

Today I decided to make an Espresso Martini. There are fair few variations to the recepie of this cocktail but I've made mine using 100ml of black coffee, 30ml of Original Bailey's, 30 ml of Coffee Bailey's (other coffee liqueur will do), 15 ml of Vodka and ice. It was very good! I couldn't taste alcohol due to strong taste of coffee but after just one drink I was pretty "happy" :)

Project 10 Pan no.2...part 2

Sorry it took me so long to find time a write a second part of my recent project 10 pan.

1. Clinique Moisture Surge Gel Creme 50 ml (full size)

My overall impression- light unscented oil-free gel-creme. It didn't break me out which is a big bonus. However it wasn't moisturising enough when my skin was extra dry during cooler months. Due to gel texture it leaves slight film on your skin which might be an issue for some people. It was great to use under foundation as it didn't react with it nor made it slide off.
Would I buy it again? - possibly, if I don't find a perfect moisturiser that suits my skin and absorbs fully.

2. The Body Shop Tea Tree Cleansing Wipes
My overall impression - I was intrigued to try anti-bacterial wipes hoping it will control my breakouts. I picked them up at the airport when I was in transit (I really needed something "cleansing"). They leave my skin refreshed but don't remove mascara as well as my usual Nivea wipes.
Would I buy it again? - probably not. Nivea is still my favourite and it is significantly cheaper and more effective.

3. U Little Beauty Natural Repair Hair Mask 50 ml (trial size)
My overall impression - This product was sent to me in March Bellabox. I likes it at first, it had very lovely scent and natural ingredients looked very promising. However my hair didn't like it at all. I felt like it was overloading my fine hair with oils making it limp and lifeless.
Would I buy it again? - No, it doesn't suit my hair type

4. Stila Major Lash Mascara
My overall impression - good deep black mascara with smallish brush. It was easy to use but didn't add major volume or length to my lashes.
Would I buy it again? - No, there are better mascaras for me out there

5. Aveda Pure Abundance Conditioner, 250 ml (full size)
My overall impression - I got this conditioner from Strawberrynet back in March. I've enjoyed using it! It had mild herbal scent, made my hair feel and look good and didn't weight it down.
Would I buy it again? - Possibly! I still haven't decided if I prefer this one to Wella Hydro conditioner which work really well for my hair.
