Empties...part 1

Image
I haven't done "empties" list for quite sometime because for a while I just didn't have enough accumulated...then I was too busy to blog...next thing I knew I had finished 20 items. So here they are (part 1 - in no particular order):  1. The Body Shop Mango Body Scrub 50g   My overall impression - it is a sugar scrub that is suspended in oily base and smells like true mango. It leaves skin moisturised and smooth plus gives it a nice sheen after use. It does however goes off quick so it is best to be used fresh Would I buy it again? - I do like it but my preferred scrub is a lot cheaper and more suitable for my needs. I tend to exfoliate before fake tanning so oil-based scrubs are not the best for it. 2. Natio 30+ Sunscreen Lotion 125 g   My overall impression - Pleasantly and mildly scented non-greasy sunscreen that seems to be very effective. Would I buy it again? - Yes, I quite like it plus it is reasonably priced 3. Clinique Claryfying Lot...

Yes, I finished another 10 items from my make-up and skincare stash and rewarded myself during Boxing Day Sales with DKNY Perfume. 1. Lapurete Night Creme 50 ml (full size) My overall impression - very nice product and gorgeous scent and cool pump bottle (I did a review in it here ). It didn't break me out and absorbed fairly easily, felt really nice on my skin. However it did nothing for the lines on my neck and didn't improve the appearance of the fine line on my forehead. I find Grown and The Body Shop oil serums correct my fine lines much better. Good overall moisturiser but not as powerful as they claim to be (they call it nature's botox). Would I buy it again? - most likely, I've enjoyed using it. 2. Bobbi Brown Lash Glamour Mascara (trial size) My overall impression - I got a trial size of this mascara in Glossybox. It was a good product however it wasn't as good as some other higher-end mascaras on the market. it retails for $48 and...

You can view part one here . 6. Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara My overall impression - very standard mascara, comes with very average brush. Overall not bad but not outstanding either. It was somewhat dry and wasn't as black as I like my mascaras to be. It run out pretty quickly too. On my lashes it looked OK and lasted all day. I can't complain because it was a freebie from a magazine. Would I buy it again? - No, there are better mascaras in the similar price range out there. 7. St. Ives Green Tea Cleanser My overall impression - lower end face cleanser that supposed to control breakouts as it contains 2% Salicylic Acid. It had very soapy scent and feel to it. It wasn't great at removing make-up and I wouldn't use it on eyes anyway. I had to use it after make-up remover. Clinique Anti-Blemish line works better for me. Would I buy it again? - No, I didn't enjoy using it and other products work better for me. 8. The Body Shop Strawberry Shower Ge...
