1. Diorskin Nude foundation trial size 5 ml My overall impression - I've used this foundation before and I like it. It gives my skin very natural finish yet it covers imperfections well. The staing power is decent but not transfer-proof. It also doesn't break me out which is always a big bonus. I took it with me on my 5-week holiday and one small 5 ml lasted me this whole time. Would I buy it again - Yes, it is a good general foundation. I usually wait intill it is on sale on strawberrynet as my last full size bottle only cost me $34 2. Covergirl Lash Blast Volume My overall impression- One of those mascaras with rubber brushes. The consistency was good but apart from that it was very average. Would I buy it again? - No, even though it only cost me $10. There are better mascaras out there in the same price range. 3. Crabtree and Evelyn India Hicks hand cream My overall impression - Smells really nice and absorbs without residue. I just find ...

David Jones Deluxe Sampler Tote

Yes, it that time of the year! David Jones released their bi-annual beauty book with lots of great specials plus they have new Deluxe Sampler Tote which is excellent this time round.  You just have to get something from their beauty range and its yours for $19.95.  I purchased MOR Lychee Flower Body Wash and also got GWP - three gorgeous soaps (Quince Persimmon, Peppery Cardamom and Cyclamen Tuberose) in very cute box. Back to sampler tote...here is what I got in mine 1.   1. SK II - Facial Treatment Essence 30 ml Heard a lot about this product, always wanted to try it. Dermatologica Precleanse 30 ml I never had good luck with Dermatologica products but hopefully this cleanser will do what it suppose to without breaking me out. 3. David Jones Day Cream 30 ml I will probably use it as hand cream as it has some oil therefore can break me out 4. David Jones Deeply Purify cl...

My overseas beauty purchases

Few situations definitely put me out of my comfort zone particularly when I was travelling alone. I am even considering starting my own travel blog sharing my experiences and points of view :) However I want to keep this blog as beauty, fashion and lifestyle blog. I didn't go too crazy but still purchased few nice beauty-related things in various locations.  1. YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation  Looks very promising as it has both long-lasting properties and luminous finish. I haven't used it enough to do a full report but watch this space... 2. Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler Couldn't resist this cult beauty tool plus it was relatively inexpensive in Singapore 3. Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Duty-Free Exclisuve miniature set  It came with four gorgeous scents - Nerolia Bianca (citrus-y floral), Herba Fresca (fresh green), Flora Rosa (fru...
