Chanel Hydramax + Active Gel Creme

Image
I wanted to try Chanel Skincare for quite sometime now. Few weeks ago I finally purchased Chanel Hydramax + Active Gel Cream. This moisturiser was quite pricey but I love it!   Packaging: This cream is presented in a chic frosted container with black lid which features Chanel logo. It also came with a little spatula so you don't have to dip your fingers into the cream thus preventing contamination. I t looks great on my vanity table however it is not the quickest and easiest way to apply moisturiser. I think I still prefer pump bottles.   Product: It is a semi-translucent gel cream that feel light on your skin. Unlike a lot of other gel creams it doesn't leave a film on your skin. I've been using it for about two weeks now and my skin looks very good. It doesn't break me out at all which is a huge plus in my books. It is perfect to use under foundation as it fully sinks into your skin preventing your make-up from sliding off. It doesn't have SPF but I pref

Essie Sale and Espresso Martini

www.ozsale.com.au is having Essie sale ATM! I love their nail polishes, haven't encountered a bad one yet. They come in very nice and wearable shades and various finishes from sheer to pastes, from cream to pearl! I love their sets of four miniatures. They are 5 ml which is a bit less that a half of full size Essie nail polish and unlike OPI minis they come with decent brush. I've placed an order for top and base coat set, cuticle oil, four full size nail polishes and one mini set of four. Can't wait to play with them! I love cocktails but I've been trying to save my money lately for the upcoming wedding so I can't enjoy them whe I am out as much as I would like to :( I have been learning how to make my own cocktails and they all turned out pretty good so far. Today I decided to make an Espresso Martini. There are fair few variations to the recepie of this cocktail but I've made mine using 100ml of black coffee, 30ml of Original Bailey's, 30 ml of

Project 10 Pan no.2...part 2

Sorry it took me so long to find time a write a second part of my recent project 10 pan . 1. Clinique Moisture Surge Gel Creme 50 ml (full size)  My overall impression- light unscented oil-free gel-creme. It didn't break me out which is a big bonus. However it wasn't moisturising enough when my skin was extra dry during cooler months. Due to gel texture it leaves slight film on your skin which might be an issue for some people. It was great to use under foundation as it didn't react with it nor made it slide off. Would I buy it again? - possibly, if I don't find a perfect moisturiser that suits my skin and absorbs fully. 2. The Body Shop Tea Tree Cleansing Wipes My overall impression - I was intrigued to try anti-bacterial wipes hoping it will control my breakouts. I picked them up at the airport when I was in transit (I really needed something "cleansing"). They leave my skin refreshed but don't remove mascara as well as my usual Nivea wipes
