This is my January lot of empties with couple of products that I threw away without finishing. 1. Tan Organic self-tan (binned) :( This tinted liquid absorbed well but have next to no colour. Plus the tint rubbed off everywhere. I felt like using it was a waste of time.   2. Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation :) I did a review of this foundation  here . It was a nice product but was more like a BB cream rather than foundation with very little coverage. 3. Vichy Normaderm Moisturiser (binned) :( I like the Night Detox version but this one was way too high in alcohol and it irritated my skin.   4. Pure Precious Bath :) Nice and moisturising shampoo but I really wish the scent was a bit more exciting.   5. Senka Perfect Whip Face Wash :) A face wash that I've picked up in Japan. It is very affordable yet removed make-up and impurities well without stripping skin too much. Would definitely buy again.   6. Bobbi Brown Longwear We...

These what have been emptied in my make-up stash...   1. Gurlain Noir G Mascara mini   My overall impression - Look at that stunning packaging! My mini version came in a plain tube but the actual product was very good. Probably not as good as some other mascaras out there but it still gave me long and well-coated lashes. Would I buy it again? While I did like the formula I don't think i could justify splurging $66 on a mascara even though it comes in the most beautiful case. 2. Buxom Lash Mascara mini   My overall impression - Wow that brush is huge and stiff! It felt very scratchy against the gentle skin of eyelids but coated lashes well and gave them separation.   As you can see September was a very "productive" months for me. I managed to use 11 items and freed some much needed space. 1. Nivea Exfoliating Wipes  They rubbery texture that supposed to exfoliate but unfortunately they don't remove make-up well. Won't buy them again. 2. KMS Moist Repair Conditioner  One of the best conditioners I've tried. Could easily rival some hair masks on the market. It made my hair very soft and smelled very nice. Will buy it again once I finish the lot I currently have. 3. David Jones Body Wash for Men with Pepper and Cashmere  I got it in previous DJ "sampler tote". I actually likes this product, it didn't irritate or dry out my and had pleasant spicy scent. Not sure if I get it again as there are a lot of good body washes within similar price range. 4. Formula 10.0.6 Purifying Face Wipes    Very generic wipes, didn't remove make-up as well as I would like them to. Won't ge...

1. Diorskin Nude foundation trial size 5 ml My overall impression - I've used this foundation before and I like it. It gives my skin very natural finish yet it covers imperfections well. The staing power is decent but not transfer-proof. It also doesn't break me out which is always a big bonus. I took it with me on my 5-week holiday and one small 5 ml lasted me this whole time. Would I buy it again - Yes, it is a good general foundation. I usually wait intill it is on sale on strawberrynet as my last full size bottle only cost me $34 2. Covergirl Lash Blast Volume My overall impression- One of those mascaras with rubber brushes. The consistency was good but apart from that it was very average. Would I buy it again? - No, even though it only cost me $10. There are better mascaras out there in the same price range. 3. At one time I went through a phase of buying expensive make-up thinking that cheaper alternatives won't do a very good job. Yes, there are certain HG products that cost fair bit and you just have to bite a bullet and splurge on them. However I've discovered lots of great make-up items for under $30. They are also easily obtainable from Priceline, Big W, Target etc. So here is my top 10 1. L'Oreal Color Riche Lipstick  I've been using this lipstick for years and must say that this is one of my favourite lipsticks ever! It is highly pigmented, non-drying and comes in very gorgeous shades. They retail for $21.95 but you can often get them on sale from Target, Big W and Pharmacies for $10-18 2. Bourjois Blush  Did you know that original Bourjois blush was created way back in 1863 by Alexandre Napoleon Bourjois for stage performers in Paris! 150 years later it is still a cult beauty product. Sorry it took so long to post 2nd part of my Project 10 Pan...My wedding is only 3 months away and I've been spending most of my time on it. 5. Clinique Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser (Full Size) My overall impression - I love this cleanser. I blogged about it before. I've been using it on/off for over 10 years and haven't found anything better. It dissolves make-up well, doesn't sting my eyes and foams really well. Would I buy it again - Yes, definitely. It is a HG product for me! 6. Christian Dior Diorskin Forever Foundation (full size) My overall impression - Good foundation, however I found something better! I thought it was the best because it felt light and lasted well (however it would start disappearing towards the end of the day). Now I'm using Guerlain Parure Extreme and think it is better because it lasts longer while still being very light. As promised in earlier post I would like to present you two nail polishes from L'Or Electric Collection that I've purchased recently.   without flash ... daylight... I paid around $7 for each nail polish. I've read somewhere that Target had L'Oreal on sale recently but I've missed out...oh well... Majestic Green was the first colour that I've noticed. I haven't quite seen a nail polish like this one before so I had to have it! It is a gorgeous shade of metallic yellow-green that will surely stand out. Magic Croisette looks like another shimmery teal on L'Oreal web site however it is a bit different in reality. I would describe it as deep teal with green micro-glitter. It is quite different from a lot of other shimmery teal nail polishes as micro-glitter doesn't dominate the colour, it is very subtle and just gives it an extra dimension. without flash ... with flash... and finally on my nails...sorry for imperfect application...
